I advise everyone who speaks to this woman on the phone to immediately request to be transferred. If you experience something similar, please file a complaint with her supervisor. I really wonder if common sense has become synonymous with rudeness in society these days. I definitely parked illegally, unintentionally, no question about it. I returned to my car just as the city employee was processing the ticket. I greeted her politely and made it clear that I understood and would, of course, pay. I was greeted with eye-rolling, lectured, and given a lecture. The tone and manner were, unfortunately, completely inappropriate and off-putting. In my opinion, one can learn a lot from city employees, but at the same time, one also expects a lot from them. After all, they expect a lot from the citizens, and I don't just mean financially. I don't want to complain or be pitied, but simply offer a little food for thought.

We were there shortly before closing time, and a very friendly clerk who happened to be passing by showed us the right way so we could still present our concerns. The clerk who came afterward was also very friendly and answered all our questions, despite the approaching closing time. I can't think of anything I could complain about.
