Beautiful church in the Ulm district of Söflingen. Historically an independent Catholic town, it was incorporated into the Protestant city of Ulm in 1905. The monastery courtyard and the Söflingen town center lend this Ulm district its own charm.

Great concert – outstanding ensemble; a new experience to hear "Messiah" in English, heavily abridged and with a wonderful choir of only about 25 people – but the pews in the church are a complete disaster even for this shortened version – an ordeal for people with back problems – so it's no wonder that some people left temporarily or even completely; I also spent some time standing... what a shame, a different venue would have been better!

Every church has its charm, especially when you see the people in the background giving their hearts to the glory of God.... Several sextons share the service in this church. Each one is good-natured and interested in supporting this place in their own way with their dedication. Many small and large services are performed by various people who truly bring a church to life in the background... I would especially like to mention the organist Hermann Peterle, who recently passed away after 65 years of organ service at the same church. He knew how to pull out all the stops on the organ. No stop remained hidden from him. He always strove to bring his pieces to life. With the many instruments he acquired, many songs came to life even more. Perhaps you will hear the Zimbelstern one day... On his last day at the organ, he still played, "Let us be happy and cheerful"... And then his era came to an end. ETERNALLY GRATEFUL-
