Groove on Ice: Ice Skating with Disco Feeling in Neu-Ulm
On Friday, November 6, 2026, the ice sports facility of Donaubad in Neu-Ulm will be transformed into an extraordinary dance floor on ice. At the Groove on Ice event, visitors will glide from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM to classics of disco, funk, soul, pop, and dance on the ice.
Music, Movement, and Stadium Atmosphere on Ice
Instead of current charts, this Oldies Night focuses on the big hits of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. The music sets the rhythm for lively rounds, smooth curves, and spontaneous dance performances. Between the ice surface, the audience noise, and the colorful party atmosphere, the evening combines athletic movement with nostalgic disco feeling.
For Beginners and Experienced Ice Skaters
The ice sports facility at Donaubad offers skating fun for various skill levels. Beginners will find space for their first steps and controlled turns, while experienced skaters can showcase their technique, balance, and speed to the music. Those without their own skates can use a rental service on-site.
An Evening for Friends, Families, and the Young at Heart
Groove on Ice is aimed at everyone who wants to combine time together, movement, and familiar songs. Whether with the old crowd, as a couple, or with family: the mix of ice skating, memories, and live atmosphere makes Friday night a special recreational experience in the Ulm and Neu-Ulm region.
