Dance Unit Qualifier Regio Süd 2027: Neu-Ulm becomes the stage for Germany's dance talents
On April 3rd and 4th, 2027, the Edwin-Scharff-Haus in Neu-Ulm will transform into a meeting point for the southern German dance scene. At the Dance Unit Qualifier Regio Süd, dancers of various age groups and skill levels will compete in front of a jury and audience to qualify for the Dance Unit World Finals 2027.
Two days full of energy, precision, and expression
Solo, duo, group, or formation: The competition showcases the full range of modern dance culture. Different choreographies, strong formations, and expressive performances meet an audience that experiences every movement, beat, and stage moment up close.
In the Great Hall of the Edwin-Scharff-Haus, an intense stadium atmosphere will emerge with fan chants, audience noise, and heightened court tension. The floodlights, music, and concentration just before the performance make the qualifier an experience for dance fans and families.
The path to the Dance Unit World Finals
For the participants, every performance counts. Technique, timing, expression, and collaboration within the formation determine the evaluation. The dancers showcase their individual strengths, set choreographic accents, and gain valuable stage experience on the way to the next international competition level.
The qualification leads to the Dance Unit World Finals 2027, which will take place from May 26th to 30th, 2027, in Innsbruck. This gives the competition in Neu-Ulm a special sporting significance: Each formation not only fights for applause but for the chance at the next big step.
