Durga Puja in Neu-Ulm: A Festival of Devotion and Divine Power
When prayer, music, and community come together, Durga Puja becomes a special experience of faith. On October 17, 2026, the Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir in Neu-Ulm invites you to the Hindu celebration in honor of the Divine Mother Durga. The festival commemorates Durga's victory over Mahisha, the demon of ignorance and indifference, and marks the culmination of the nine-day Navaratri.
Kirtan, Darshan, and Spiritual Community
Starting at 10:00 AM, the Ashram opens its doors. At 10:30 AM, Kirtan to the Divine Mother begins, accompanied by Darshan with Ma. The communal singing creates a meditative atmosphere, leading participants into a lived practice of Bhakti, prayer, and inner focus.
Bhandara, Seva, and Festive Prasad
At 12:30 PM, visitors can look forward to a Bhandara with festive food and Seva. In the afternoon, the Ashram opens again at 3:30 PM. Kirtan, shared meals, and service to the spiritual community connect religious tradition with heartfelt encounters.
Durga Puja in Ma's Presence
The evening leads at 8:00 PM to the ceremonial highlight: together, we celebrate Durga Puja in Ma's presence. Sound, devotion, and the special atmosphere of the mandir provide space for reflection, spirituality, and an intense religious experience.
Participation and Contribution
No registration is required, but it helps the Ashram with preparations. The contribution for entry in the morning is 24 euros, and for the afternoon, it is 29 euros. All contributions serve to maintain both Ashrams.
Durga Puja in Neu-Ulm combines Hindu liturgy, Kirtan, Darshan, Seva, and communal celebration into an impressive experience of faith. Those who wish to experience the spiritual atmosphere of the Navaratri highlight live will find here an open and respectful place for encounter.
