An evening between longing, stories, and music in the Wengenkirche
With Of Longing and Searching, visitors in Ulm can expect a quiet, poetic event experience in a special atmosphere. Maria Winter freely presents stories about the search for happiness, musically accompanied by Reinhard Köhler. The evening focuses on closeness, words, and sound rather than a big stage - this is precisely what makes this cultural evening at the City Church appealing.
Words that resonate
The art of storytelling by Maria Winter brings images to life that linger in the mind long after. Her style of free speech creates an intense access for an audience that appreciates literature, the search for meaning, and fine observations. In combination with music, a quiet yet compelling experience unfolds, filling the church space with palpable life.
Music as a companion on the inner journey
Reinhard Köhler enriches the storytelling evening with musical colors that enhance and deepen the atmosphere. Thus, a harmonious arc grows from stories and sounds, gently carrying the audience without overwhelming them. This understated form of program design fits well with the special event atmosphere in the Wengenkirche.
A place with special radiance
The Catholic City Church St. Michael to the Wengen is located in the heart of Ulm and is one of the prominent churches in the city center.
