Zwackelmann & Andreas Kalb bring Punk attitude to Hemperium
On Friday, October 23, 2026, striking songwriter energy and raw live sound will meet at Hemperium Ulm: Zwackelmann and Andreas Kalb will take the stage at 8:00 PM. The concert will run until around 10:00 PM and promises a focused evening for all who appreciate handmade music, direct lyrics, and strong stage performance.
Straightforward songs with catchy harmonies
Behind Zwackelmann is the songwriter Schlaffke Wolff from Hamminkeln in North Rhine-Westphalia. He first became known as the singer of the punk band Schließmuskel, which existed from 1983 to 2000. Since his first public performance in 2003, Zwackelmann has been considered his solo project. He is supported by FC Baum on drums and Marius OPunktHase on bass guitar.
Musically, Zwackelmann relies on straightforward songs, catchy melodies, and a clear band lineup. The arrangements are characterized not by overloaded orchestration, but by precise synchronization, driving rhythm, and the immediate pressure of a small live setup. This very reduction creates closeness: Every hit, every drum impulse, and every sung line remains palpable.
A concert evening with a rough edge and plenty of melody
The Hemperium offers the perfect setting for a concert experience with a short distance between stage and audience. The live atmosphere of the Ulm venue combines a club feel with gastronomy and a diverse program of live acts and events. Here, it’s not about the grand gesture, but about the moment when a song hits the room directly and the audience's mood visibly shifts.
Zwackelmann stands for a punk-adjacent playing style with a melodic core. Andreas Kalb complements the evening as another act and broadens the program with an additional musical perspective. This creates a double concert that brings together different sound colors and focuses on stage presence, songwriting, and immediate energy.
Ulm experiences handmade music in club format
Those who love small concerts with authentic sound and a personal atmosphere will find a suitable address on October 23 at Zinglerstraße. The acoustics of a club room, direct eye contact, and closeness to the musicians make the evening an experience beyond interchangeable large events.
Conclusion: Zwackelmann & Andreas Kalb invite you to a compact, energy-filled concert evening at Hemperium Ulm. Between punk origins, melodic songwriting, and immediate stage performance, a live experience emerges for all who prefer to enjoy music up close and without distance. Those who want to feel the sound not just stream it should experience this date live.
