FOGDRIVER and THE BLACK CAT'S EYE bring Psychedelic Rock to Ulm

Psychedelic Rock and heavy riffs at Hexenhaus Ulm

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, two distinctive voices of Psychedelic and Stoner Rock will meet at Hexenhaus e.V. in Ulm: FOGDRIVER from the region of Giengen and Heidenheim, and THE BLACK CAT'S EYE from Frankfurt am Main. The concert evening combines atmospheric soundscapes, powerful guitars, and hypnotic grooves into an intense live experience.

FOGDRIVER: Instrumental sound between fog and fire

FOGDRIVER relies on a dynamic blend of heavy riffs, psychedelic textures, and driving rhythms. The quartet consciously avoids vocals and focuses entirely on the interplay of sound, light, and stage performance. Their music evolves from forceful guitars, precise synchronization, and long tension arcs that transform the concert hall into an instrumental sound landscape.

With the album Dancing Fire, the self-titled album, and the live tape Live on Earth, the band documents their connection of Stoner Rock, Psychedelic Rock, and atmospheric instrumental music. At this concert, sound and light merge into an experience that relies less on classical song structures and more on dynamics, intensity, and momentum.

THE BLACK CAT'S EYE: Fuzz, Blues, and psychedelic longform

THE BLACK CAT'S EYE taps into the great era of Psychedelic Rock of the 1960s and 1970s and translates it into a modern, experimental stage performance. Dazzling fuzz, bass, and drum riffs meet delicate chord pickings, blues-rooted lead guitars, and hymnic melodies. Pieces are allowed to unfold and evolve until time and space blur in the hypnotic rock sound.

The five-member musician collective released the album Decrypting Dreams of Weird Animals and Strange Objects on October 31, 2025, via Tonzonen Records. The band has performed at the Herzberg Festival and venues like Centralstation Darmstadt and DasRind in Rüsselsheim. At Hexenhaus, their psychedelic sound worlds meet the instrumental pull of FOGDRIVER.

An evening for curious rock ears

The concert evening starts with doors opening at 8:00 PM, and the sound begins at 9:00 PM. Expect booming amplifiers, warm bass frequencies, shimmering guitars, and a concentrated live atmosphere. The intimate club environment of Hexenhaus creates ideal conditions for a concert experience where orchestration, conducting of dynamics, and immediate audience mood come together closely.

Those who want to experience Psychedelic Rock, Stoner Rock, fuzz sound, and instrumental stage music live will find an evening with two distinctive bands and a clear musical signature. Secure the date and immerse yourself in a powerful, atmospheric rock evening at Hexenhaus Ulm.
