JAZZNACHT EHINGEN 2026: Jazz, Trumpet Power and Great Voices
On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Lindenhalle Ehingen will transform into a meeting point for jazz fans and curious concert visitors. JAZZNACHT EHINGEN combines high-profile stage performances, virtuoso improvisation, and a lively conclusion in the foyer into a versatile music night.
Rüdiger Baldauf's Trumpet Night with Max Mutzke
The centerpiece of the program is Rüdiger Baldauf's Trumpet Night. The renowned trumpeter presents specially arranged compositions together with his band and meets Max Mutzke in Ehingen. His distinctive voice lends a striking soulful color to the evening, while Baldauf's trumpet playing provides precise articulation, powerful brass arrangements, and sparkling musical dialogues.
KAS: Three Musicians, One Boundless Jazz Sound
With Joo Kraus on trumpet and vocals, Jo Ambros on guitar, and Sebastian Schuster on double bass, KAS brings a trio full of finesse and joy to the stage. Their sound moves between modern jazz, grooving passages, and cross-genre tonal colors. The three musicians have previously collaborated with artists such as Tina Turner, Bosse, and the SWR Big Band and have been awarded the Federal Jazz Prize and considered for Grammy recognitions.
Live Atmosphere Between Concert Hall and Foyer
JAZZNACHT EHINGEN focuses on musical variety and immediate audience vibes. Precise synchronization, free improvisation, and a variable sound landscape meet the unique atmosphere of the Lindenhalle. After the stage concerts and during the intermission, Acoustic Avenue takes over the live music at the bar. There, the evening continues relaxed with grooving rhythms, conversations, and dancing.
An Evening for Jazz Lovers and Explorers
The program combines established names from the German music scene with modern trio aesthetics and a sociable finale. Between trumpet sound, soul, double bass, and guitar lines, a concert experience emerges that makes different facets of jazz audible and fills the Lindenhalle with music until late in the evening.
