Young Wind Philharmonic Ulm opens a new chapter at the CCU
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Young Wind Philharmonic Ulm invites you to the annual concert at the Congress Centrum Ulm. Under the direction of Lukas Weiss, the orchestra will present a concert at 7:00 PM in the spirit of renewal, community, and musical energy.
New leadership, new structure, new sound
The annual concert marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for the Young Wind Philharmonic Ulm. A new team and a changed structure give the orchestra fresh impulses. In the Einstein Hall of the CCU, precise conducting, powerful wind sounds, and the concentrated stage performance of a young ensemble come together.
Orchestration with energy and expression
The JBU stands for the tonal diversity of a modern wind philharmonic. Different registers merge into a colorful sound: Radiant brass players set striking accents, woodwinds provide agility and fine inner structures, while percussion and musical synchronization drive the concert arc. The program showcases the musical range and energy of the orchestra.
Live atmosphere at the Congress Centrum Ulm
A special live atmosphere is created in the concert hall of the CCU, where every dynamic nuance becomes immediately perceptible. Bright tutti passages, transparent solo moments, and the interplay between tense calm and powerful sound release make the concert experience attractive for families, music enthusiasts, and friends of symphonic wind music.
A musical departure
The Young Wind Philharmonic Ulm connects musical education, communal music-making, and demanding concert work. The annual concert 2026 not only reflects on another orchestra year but also represents a departure into a promising future. The musical direction of Lukas Weiss sets the framework for an evening full of joy in playing and focused sound design.
Conclusion: An evening full of wind power and community
The audience can expect a varied annual concert with great sound richness, engaged stage performance, and the special atmosphere of a young orchestra. Those who wish to experience the Young Wind Philharmonic Ulm live in its new phase should mark October 17, 2026, and secure tickets in good time.
